The right technology
WordPress, WooCommerce, Next.js, PWA, APIs or a custom system are all tools.
Every project has different needs. We choose the technology to match.
About the lab / Da Nang, Vietnam
An oversized shape, then an undersized shape, finally a shape that fits the outline exactly.
Dnlab is an independent digital lab in Da Nang, where we design and build websites, digital products and tools for everyday work.
For each project, we first learn who will use it, how they work and what needs to improve. The aim is a version that meets today’s needs and can develop further when needed.
For example, a small shop may need a clearer order process more than a management system with hundreds of features. A familiar, maintainable platform can also be a better fit than the newest technology. What matters is how the solution helps with the work and how the team will keep using it.
Dnlab starts with the work that needs doing, then chooses the technology.
A fit for
The solution should fit the everyday work.
01 / Three principles
WordPress, WooCommerce, Next.js, PWA, APIs or a custom system are all tools.
Every project has different needs. We choose the technology to match.
Put the budget towards the parts that address the current need first.
Make use of established platforms and ecosystems. Build custom features where they create real value.
A good system should work beyond the day it is handed over.
The team using it should understand how it works, handle everyday tasks and know how to extend it when needed.
02 / Start with the everyday
Building a website starts with understanding the work behind it.
We care about how a shop takes orders, how a studio manages clients and how a business prepares quotes, books appointments, supports customers, manages products and handles its daily work.
These details help us understand what the business needs to improve.
The aim is to make everyday work easier.
Understand what you need, then find a way to build it together.
03 / From question to product
Understand the need before choosing the solution.
Questions, context and a clear starting point.
Make the idea tangible while it is still easy to change.
A flow, a wireframe or a working interaction.
Test the details and make the product easier to use.
Layouts across screen sizes, readability and performance.
Release a useful version and improve it through feedback.
Final checks, deployment and feedback from use.
04 / Keep the conversation going
A rough sketch, a question or a website you want to rethink. That is enough to start.
